Speaking of Boards: Both the Willamette Leadership Academy and the PYCO Corporate boards are always looking for qualified board members. The PYCO Corporate Board directs the mission and operations of the PYCO program and the WLA Board acts as the school board for the Academy.
To be a member of either board you must:
Be at least 21 years old.
Show a committment to youth in your community.
Be willing to support the mission, methods, and philosphy of the Pioneer Youth Corps program.
Be a person of good character and be able to pass a background check.
Anyone interested in an application for a position on either board should contact:

| Can drive. WLA parents group will be putting on a can drive starting 1-7-06. All soda along with beverage cans & bottles will be taken as long as they have the state redemption logo. The local community can join us in our drive by: saving cans and bottles and bringing them to the school please call first before bringing them out to insure somebody will be avalible to assist you when you make your drop off 541-935-6815. The other way to donate cans & bottles is by calling Thomas Blake at 541-998-7323 to set up a pick up point, at that time a date and time will be arranged for pick up. All proceedes will go to WLA's 1200 Campaign. If you have a cadet attending WLA please bring in your cans Please DO NOT send them on the BUS. |
